Darlene Tate Robinson, CEO
In 2020, Mrs. Darlene Tate Robinson, the CEO and Founder of TRobinson Family First, inaugurated the Mooresville, NC location, marking it as the second establishment under her leadership. Previously, in 2016, she launched the first TRobinson Family First location in South Carolina, which was exclusively dedicated to providing intensive services within the mental health sector.
Darlene's objective was to ensure mental health care was both affordable and accessible to every individual in the community, regardless of their background. She also sought to offer essential resources for those in need while fostering a warm and inclusive sense of community.
Darlene's holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health which she received at Johnson C. Smith University and is CACARP accredited in both North Carolina and South Carolina. While mental health remains her primary focus, Darlene is frequently described as "a jack of many trades." Her contributions range from feeding the homeless and organizing gatherings for special occasions throughout the year to assisting others in starting businesses from the ground up and much more. Darlene is widely acknowledged for her exceptional versatility and diverse skill set.
Darlene's famous saying, "It's about quality, not quantity," perfectly captures the heart of TRobinson Family First. Though small in size, the devoted team offers a caring, family-like approach, meeting people where they are and fostering a welcoming, judgment-free space.
Darlene's, backed by a skilled and diverse team, has been working hard to expand its services and address various challenges. The organization recently introduced intensive in-home services and plans to lunch CST services by the end of 2025. As TRobinson Family First continues to grow, Darlene remains committed to creating a safe haven for those in need.
